Audit Readiness, Reviews & Compilations
Prepare financial statements and supporting records for the reporting or assurance service your business needs.
Online service across all 50 states

What this service is
Banks, investors, landlords, and government agencies often ask for financial statements a CPA has examined. There are three levels: a compilation (the CPA presents your numbers in proper form with no assurance), a review (limited assurance based on analysis and inquiry), and an audit (an independent opinion backed by testing and confirmation). We help you identify which level the requesting party actually requires, prepare your books and schedules for it, and support review and compilation work, always confirming independence first, because the same firm generally cannot both keep your books and attest to them.

When this service may fit
- A lender, investor, regulator, or buyer asked for a formal assurance level

How It Works
Requirement review: what your lender, investor, or counterparty actually requires, and at what assurance level
Clarify who will use the financial statements and what level of reporting or assurance that user requires.
Readiness diagnostic and gap mapping against that requirement
Assess the condition of the records and agree whether the work involves readiness, compilation, review, or coordination with an independent auditor.
PBC list issued and preparation support through document gathering
Prepare supporting schedules and resolve accounting questions, with procedures determined by the signed engagement.
Engagement execution, with a management letter and post-engagement improvement priorities
Deliver the agreed reporting or readiness package and explain open issues and future recordkeeping improvements.
Your Role
Management owns the records, accounting policies, internal controls, and financial statements, and provides complete support for the agreed procedures.
Service Scope
Compilation, review, readiness, and audit are different services with different assurance levels. An audit opinion requires a separately accepted independent audit engagement.
