What sets your monthly price
Transactions a month
Each line on a bank or card statement. This is the biggest factor, and it sets your band.
Bank, card and loan accounts
Each account is reconciled to its statement every month, so more accounts means more work.
Cash or accrual basis
Accrual books add entries for unpaid bills, unbilled revenue, prepaids and depreciation.
Payroll
Payroll runs are recorded from your provider's reports, split into wages, taxes and benefits.
Inventory and sales channels
Shopify, Amazon, Square or Toast payouts are recorded gross, with fees, refunds and cost of goods sold.
Classes, locations or entities
Reporting by location or department, or a second company, means more coding and more reconciliations.
